Position
Position: IT Support Analyst
Location: Hybrid from Cluj
The IT Support Analyst is responsible for installing, configuring, deploying, troubleshooting, and maintaining the Microsoft Windows and Mac OS computers, peripherals, and associated peripherals, including AV equipment. The Desktop Support Analyst will report to the Manager of IT Support and will work closely with other members of the technology department to support all end users. There will be a requirement to go to the office regularly.
What you will do
- Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows 11 and Apple Mac OS computers, as well as some iOS and Linux devices in a networked environment
- Maintain and troubleshoot audio visual equipment in the office
- Experience using an enterprise recognized ticketing system.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
- Provide clear and concise communication to end-users
- Work with 3rd party vendors
- Prepare and ship hardware globally – primarily EMEA
What makes you an ideal candidate
- Basic knowledge of Azure, Intune, JAMF, AD and Microsoft Admin portals (Exchange, Defender). MFA concepts, Active Directory
- Experience in end-user support role.
- Ability to recognize, analyze and effectively solve problems in a timely and organized manner using industry-best practices and procedures
- Knowledge of DEX and EUE monitoring tools is desirable
- 2+ years setup, configuration, troubleshooting of hardware and software (Windows and Mac OS) and working with the full Microsoft O365 suite
- Knowledge of an enterprise ticketing system
- Some knowledge of TCP/IP networking, VPN, and related network services (i.e. DNS, DHCP, etc.)
- Soft skills required for the job: Customer oriented person, positive and friendly attitude, patient, polite, problem-solver by nature, highly conscientious and persuasive.
