Position
Title: Member of Technical Staff
Location: Bangalore (Hybrid)
What you will do
Become an integral part of the Riverbed Portal® engineering team, where you'll have the opportunity to validate and enhance cutting-edge features. You'll support Riverbed Portal® across a broad customer base and play a pivotal role in shaping the product's future.
- Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects using defect tracking tools.
- Work closely with development teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Participate in requirement analysis and provide feedback on testability.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Playwright, Selenium or similar.
- Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman or similar.
- Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
- Ensure adherence to QA processes, standards, and best practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA methodologies and frameworks.
What makes you an ideal candidate
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 6 -8 years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing.
• Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium or similar.
• Knowledge of programming/scripting languages such as Typescript, Java, Python.
• Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla), version control tools like Git and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins)
• Experience in API testing
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience testing web applications.
• Execute regression test suites and analyze automation results.
• Improve automation coverage and optimize existing scripts.
• Practical knowledge of agile software development methodologies
• Proactive, able to unblock yourself if needed
• Strong geographically distributed cross-team communication skills
