Position

Title: Talent Researcher
Location: Bangalore - Hybrid

The Talent Researcher will play a pivotal role in identifying, engaging, and attracting top talent to support hiring across all business units, including Engineering, Product, Sales, and G&A functions. This individual will partner closely with Recruiters, Hiring Managers, and Business Leaders to build robust, forward-looking talent pipelines for business-critical roles across the organization.

What you will do

  • Identify and engage top talent across targeted geographies, companies, and functional areas (e.g., Engineering, Product, Corporate Functions, and Go-to-Market teams).
  • Contribute to the development and evolution of strategic sourcing strategies aimed at building diverse talent pools and enhancing the company’s employer brand.
  • Leverage tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, search engines, and social platforms to proactively identify and assess potential candidates.
  • Execute targeted outreach campaigns to attract both active and passive talent, while cultivating long-term relationships within talent communities.
  • Analyze talent market trends, including organizational structures, competitor hiring patterns, talent supply and demand, and workforce movement across multiple functions.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders—including Recruiters, Hiring Managers, and cross-functional leadership—to align on hiring priorities, role requirements, and talent strategies.
  • Provide regular updates on pipeline health and progress, while maintaining accurate data within the applicant tracking system (ATS)

What makes you an ideal candidate

  • Min 2+ years of experience in talent research/sourcing, with a track record of building and maintaining pipelines across a variety of functions (e.g., Engineering, Product, G&A, and/or Go-to-Market roles).
  • Proficiency with sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter), Boolean search techniques, and applicant tracking systems.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple searches across different business units simultaneously.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data-driven insights to understand competitive talent landscapes and inform sourcing strategies.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization.
