Position
Title: Sales Support and Order Management Specialist
Location: Bangalore, India (Hybrid)
Specific Work Arrangements/Schedule: Supporting US Time Zones
Travel Requirements: As required for customer engagements
We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager who can confidently run a large, active project portfolio and act as the primary point of contact for both customers and internal teams.
This role is hands on and delivery focused. You’ll typically manage 10+ concurrent projects, coordinate resources across multiple teams, own customer communication, and stay on top of the operational and financial aspects of delivery. You’ll also be the escalation point when things don’t go to plan. This is a senior, customer facing role where judgment, prioritization, and follow through matter more than process for process’ sake.
What you will do
Project & Customer Management
- Manage a portfolio of 10+ concurrent Professional Services projects, often at different stages of delivery.
- Act as the main customer contact for assigned projects, owning communication, expectations, and delivery cadence.
- Drive projects from kickoff through completion, ensuring scope, timeline, and deliverables are clearly defined and met.
- Handle customer escalations calmly and effectively, working issues through to resolution.
- Maintain strong relationships with customer stakeholders and internal delivery teams.
Resourcing & Delivery Coordination
- Plan and manage project resourcing, balancing consultant availability, skills, and customer priorities.
- Coordinate across consultants, architects, and partners to ensure the right resources are assigned at the right time.
- Adjust plans as priorities shift, while minimizing delivery risk and customer impact.
- Ensure deliverables are completed to the expected quality and on schedule.
Financial & Operational Ownership
- Own project financials, including revenue forecasting, budget tracking, and margin awareness.
- Ensure timely and accurate timecard submission across project teams.
- Track delivered vs. planned work and identify revenue leakage or recovery opportunities.
- Partner with Finance and PS Ops on forecasting, invoicing readiness, and revenue recovery.
- Keep PSA and internal systems up to date with accurate project and financial data.
Governance & Escalation
- Identify delivery risks early and escalate appropriately with clear options and recommendations.
- Provide regular project status updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Enforce delivery discipline while keeping processes practical and lightweight.
- Act as a trusted escalation point for both customers and internal teams.
What makes you an ideal candidate
- 7+ years of experience in Project Management within Professional Services, Consulting, or Technology Services.
- Proven ability to manage multiple parallel projects without losing control of details.
- Strong customer‑facing experience, including handling escalations and difficult conversations.
- Experience with resourcing coordination across distributed or global teams.
- Solid understanding of services financials, including forecasting, revenue recognition basics, and recovery.
- Comfortable with internal operational tasks (timecards, PSA hygiene, reporting).
- Clear, confident communicator who can keep projects moving.
- Experience in enterprise software, SaaS, or IT services environments.
- Familiarity with PSA tools (NetSuite PSA, OpenAir, or similar).
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification.
- Experience working with global customers and delivery teams.
