About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to lead our NBFC product and credit risk functions. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in lending, financial product management, risk analytics, and growth strategies. This role demands expertise in building and scaling financial products while ensuring regulatory compliance and operational excellence.

Education: MBA or equivalent preferred

Experience: 3+ years of experience in growth, business strategy, or program management roles

Location: Bangalore

Key Responsibilities:

Product & Financial Management:

  • Lead end-to-end product management for lending and financial products.
  • Drive P&L management, optimizing revenue and cost structures.
  • Develop and implement policies for financial product strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (Tech, Compliance, Risk, and Operations) to enhance product offerings.

Lending & Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with NBFC regulations and lending policies.
  • Develop risk and lending policies in line with regulatory guidelines and internal risk frameworks.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to navigate regulatory challenges.

Credit Risk & Analytics:

  • Lead credit risk underwriting, analytics, and collection strategies.
  • Design and implement credit risk models for different customer segments.
  • Optimize underwriting policies to balance growth and risk.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to improve risk assessment and collection efficiency.

Growth & Channel Development:

  • Discover and scale new growth channels (offline & online).
  • Leverage digital channels, partnerships, and innovative strategies to drive customer acquisition and engagement.
  • Work with marketing and business teams to optimize conversion rates.

Tech & Product Development:

  • Collaborate with technology teams to build and enhance financial technology solutions.
  • Work closely with product managers and developers to implement new features.
  • Ensure seamless customer experiences through technology-driven innovations.

Customer Experience & Operations:

  • Oversee customer support processes to enhance satisfaction and retention.
  • Implement process excellence initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
  • Streamline collections and recovery processes to enhance cash flow.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience: 3+ years in NBFC/Fintech industry with a focus on product management, credit risk, compliance, and lending operations.
  • Expertise: Strong knowledge of financial products, underwriting, and risk analytics.
  • Technical Acumen: Understanding of financial technology, digital lending platforms, and credit risk modelling.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of NBFC regulations, compliance requirements, and lending policies.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive growth initiatives, and execute business strategies.
