Role Overview:

As a Program Manager in the Growth & Strategy team, you will play a crucial role in driving strategic initiatives and programs aimed at driving offline org scale-up, training, engagement and life-cycle management leading to higher productivity of this org. This position requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in program management, a deep understanding of sales & operations, and the ability to communicate effectively with top management as well as regional teams, HR, tech etc.

Education: MBA/PGDM or equivalent degree

Experience: 2+ years of experience preferably in sales and central roles.

Location: Bangalore

Role and Responsibilities:

Business Planning:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional leadership teams (Category, Product, Finance, Marketing) to drive alignment and execution of business goals in line with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
  • Manage the end-to-end planning process, including development of business plans and targets, resource allocation, and cross-functional approval and alignment, ensuring all teams are aligned with business objectives.
  • Oversee and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets for the field team and lead generation costs, in close coordination with the business design and finance teams.

Program Management:

  • Establish and maintain sales performance management tools and procedures (e.g., performance dashboards), and coordinate with tech and product for automated performance tracking.
  • Monitor and review monthly/quarterly progress of critical initiatives and programs with field teams, presenting strategic insights to senior management.
  • Develop and manage actionable data and dashboards, generating insights to drive key sales input metrics through regular review cadence with regional teams.
  • Lead Sales and Operations engagement initiatives, including contests and gamification at the organizational level to drive motivation and performance.
  • Design, develop, and implement Sales and Channel KPIs and incentive structures to drive performance and align with business goals.
  • Serve as the custodian for productivity enhancement programs, implementing initiatives, incentives, engagement, and ensuring daily workforce tracking and rigor.
  • Design and drive plans and initiatives around growth, scale-up in terms of productivity, overall engagement.

Progress Monitoring and Execution:

  • Establish robust tracking mechanisms to monitor the progress and performance for all initiatives and lifecycle.
  • Regularly analyze program data to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with Business Team on ground to highlight scope of improvement and take recurring feedback back to central teams for planning

Qualifications:

  • MBA with 2+ years of experience preferably in sales and central roles.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of successful program implementation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Ability to engage with regional teams and drive them for ensuring results

Persona:

  • Mix of experience of doing Field Sales and Central roles
  • Experience of Scaling up Program or Managing National Programs.
  • Exposure to a fast paced execution environment with High level of ownership & execution rigor
  • Preferred Industries : B2C start-ups, FMCG, Telecom, Consumer verticals of large corporates, FinTech
  • Experience of handling/managing sales development/growth initiatives/central sales and strategy roles.
