About Sapiom

AI agents are beginning to act on behalf of companies and users — making purchases, spinning up compute, triggering workflows, and interacting with third-party systems. But today’s financial infrastructure was built for humans, not autonomous systems. Companies and developers need a way to give agents controlled access, meter actions, monetize usage, and transact across rails, without rebuilding payments, risk, and compliance internally.

Sapiom builds the financial payments infrastructure for the machine economy - autonomous spend rails that enable AI agents to transact with real-world services safely, processing every dollar spent, every policy decision navigated, and every risk signal generated.

We have assembled a world-class team with deep payments and infrastructure DNA to build the operating system for machines. Backed by a $15.75M investment from Accel, Menlo, and Anthropic, we are moving with relentless focus to deploy the economic substrate for autonomous agents.

About the Role

This is a rare opportunity to build the growth engine for a category-defining infrastructure company — from scratch, at the moment it matters most. The ideal candidate is a sharp, execution-oriented marketer who’s fluent in both developer audiences and performance channels, and who thrives when the playbook doesn’t exist yet. You’ll own the full acquisition and retention loop — from first impression to activated user — partnering closely with the Head of Marketing to define how Sapiom shows up in the world.

What You Will Do

You’ll drive Sapiom’s growth across every channel that matters — demand gen, content, SEO, and developer community — building the systems and campaigns that move developers and enterprise buyers from awareness to activation. You’ll own the editorial and content strategy that establishes Sapiom’s voice in the agentic AI conversation, while running paid programs with the rigor and creativity to compound over time. You’ll work in close partnership with the Head of Marketing and collaborate across product and engineering to turn platform milestones into growth moments. The goal: a predictable, scalable pipeline built on a foundation of genuine developer trust and category authority.

Responsibilities

  • Own demand generation — build and run multi-channel campaigns across paid, organic, and community that drive qualified pipeline and measurable activation.

  • Define and ship the content and SEO strategy — producing technical and thought-leadership content that earns distribution and establishes Sapiom as the authoritative voice on AI agent infrastructure.

  • Build and grow Sapiom’s presence in developer and AI/ML communities — engaging authentically across forums, events, and platforms where builders spend time.

  • Partner with product and engineering to turn launches and milestones into growth moments — owning go-to-market execution for new features and integrations.

  • Establish the metrics and reporting infrastructure for marketing — defining what good looks like across acquisition, activation, and retention, and holding the function accountable to it.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated track record growing developer-facing or API-first products — with a genuine understanding of how technical buyers discover, evaluate, and adopt infrastructure tools.

  • Hands-on experience running demand gen and paid acquisition programs with measurable results — not just oversight, but direct ownership of strategy, spend, and iteration.

  • Strong content and SEO instincts — able to build an editorial calendar, write or direct compelling technical content, and understand how to earn organic distribution in a technical niche.

  • Experience building community or developer presence — whether through events, Discord, social, or co-marketing with ecosystem partners.

  • Early-stage startup experience — comfortable operating without established systems, defining the function as much as executing it.

  • Fintech, payments, or developer tools background — meaningful context for the infrastructure layer Sapiom is building and the audiences it serves.

  • Data-driven operator — able to instrument campaigns, read the numbers clearly, and translate findings into fast iteration cycles.
