Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team. As part of this team, you will play a crucial role in designing hardware for flight-critical components and systems for our aircraft.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aviation or similar industries, with expertise in designing, developing, and integrating electro-mechanical systems for advanced aerospace applications. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, analyse, and develop electro-mechanical systems for eVTOL aircraft, ensuring compliance with aviation standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, mechanical, and software engineers, to integrate components into the aircraft.
• Conduct detailed system-level and component-level analyses, including kinematic performance evaluations.
• Support the development of schematics, packaging, 3D implementation, and documentation for electro-mechanical systems.
• Support prototype development, testing, and validation of systems to ensure reliability and performance.
• Help troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges related to electro-mechanical integration.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/mechatronics/aerospace engineering or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in electro-mechanical engineering within the aviation or a closely related industry.
• Minimum 1 years of industrial experience of working on machinery design.
• Proficiency in CAD tools (NX Preferred) and simulation software for electro-mechanical design and analysis.
• Knowledge of aviation standards, regulations, and certification processes (e.g., FAA, EASA).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly and concisely.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with eVTOL or unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) is highly desirable.
• Experience with high-voltage electrical systems and power distribution.
• Familiarity with lightweight materials and manufacturing processes for aerospace applications.
• Hands-on experience with prototyping, testing, and validation of electro-mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of embedded systems and control architectures.
