Job Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled CAD Engineer with a strong background in aviation or similar industries to join our design team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in computer-aided design (CAD) and a solid understanding of mechanical and aerospace systems. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the design and development of revolutionary aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies, and drawings for components and systems of the aircraft.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, and aerodynamics engineers, to ensure accurate integration of designs.
• Perform design modifications and updates based on project requirements, testing results, and feedback.
• Ensure designs comply with aviation standards, regulations, and manufacturing constraints.
• Conduct tolerance analysis, weight optimization, and manufacturability assessments to enhance design efficiency.
• Maintain and organize CAD libraries, documentation, and revision control systems.
• Provide support during prototyping, testing, and production phases by addressing design-related issues.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in CAD design in the aviation, automotive, or related industries. Experience with eVTOL or UAVs is a plus.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as CATIA, SolidWorks, or Siemens NX (Preferred).
• Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) (Preferred ASME y14.5) and drafting standards.
• Understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and assembly techniques for aerospace components.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with lightweight structures, composites, or advanced materials.
• Familiarity with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems (Siemens Teamcenter).
• Knowledge of structural analysis or FEA tools (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus) is a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
