We are seeking a skilled and driven Finance Lead to join our expanding team and contribute to the success of our organization.
About the role:
The Finance Lead will be responsible for managing the financial actions of the company. This includes tracking cash flow, financial planning, analyzing the company's financial strengths and weaknesses, and proposing corrective actions. The CFO will also oversee the finance and accounting departments and ensure the company's financial reports are accurate and completed on time.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Financial Management:
- Develop and implement financial strategies that support the organization’s mission and goals.
- Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
2.Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Prepare and manage the annual budget.
- Conduct financial forecasting and risk analysis.
- Monitor and report on financial performance against the budget.
3.Strategic Planning and Leadership:
- Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to develop long-term financial strategies.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
- Lead and mentor the finance team to achieve departmental goals.
4.Board Relations and Reporting:
- Present financial reports to the board of directors.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Maintain strong relationships with board members and stakeholders.
5.Tax Filing and Compliance:
- Oversee tax planning and compliance with all required regulations.
- Ensure timely filing of tax returns and other statutory requirements.
6.Supervision and Team Management:
- Manage and oversee the finance and accounting teams.
- Timely review of the books and reconciliations.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team.
Required Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position.
- Strong knowledge of corporate finance, financial modeling, and accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS).
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in Aviation industry.
- Advanced degree such as an MBA or Master's in Finance.
- Professional certifications like CS (Company Secretary) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst).
