About the Role:
The Talent Acquisition Intern will play a critical, hands-on role in supporting Sarla Aviation’s hiring efforts across technical and non-technical roles. This is a highly hiring-oriented position, offering end-to-end exposure to the recruitment lifecycle, along with opportunities to support core HR operations. The role requires strong communication skills, ownership, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Talent Acquisition & Hiring Support
· Assist in recruitment coordination activities including interview scheduling, candidate communication, and maintaining hiring trackers. With training and guidance, progressively take on additional responsibilities across the hiring lifecycle.
· Proactively source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, referrals, and other relevant channels.
· Conduct initial candidate screenings and maintain structured feedback for hiring teams.
· Maintain and regularly update hiring trackers, pipelines, and recruitment dashboards.
2. HR Operations & Administrative Support
· Assist with HR operational tasks such as documentation, data management, and employee records.
· Support onboarding processes including coordination, checklist tracking, and system updates.
· Help maintain accuracy across HR trackers, databases, and reports.
Required Qualifications:
· Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); comfort with spreadsheets and trackers is essential.
· Highly hands-on, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Willingness to take ownership and see tasks through from start to finish.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Prior internship or exposure to recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR operations is a plus.
· Familiarity with LinkedIn sourcing or job portals is desirable.
· Strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
· Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and high sense of accountability.
