About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior System Verification & Validation (V&V) Engineer – Avionics & Electrical Systems responsible for planning and executing verification and validation activities for avionics and electrical systems of the Sarla Aviation eVTOL aircraft.
The role focuses on verifying system requirements through simulation, lab testing, hardware-in-the-loop testing, ground testing, and flight testing. The engineer will work closely with avionics, flight controls, and electrical teams to support system integration and certification compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and maintain verification strategies and verification plans for avionics and electrical system requirements.
  • Develop verification methods and test procedures including analysis, simulation, lab testing, and integrated system testing.
  • Support development of test environments such as SIL, HIL, and avionics integration labs.
  • Coordinate with subsystem teams to ensure verification readiness and requirements traceability.
  • Support system integration, avionics lab testing, ground testing, and flight testing activities.
  • Analyse test data and ensure verification evidence is captured and documented.
  • Identify verification risks, integration issues, and corrective actions during testing campaigns.
  • Contribute to verification reports, compliance documentation, and certification deliverables.
  • Collaborate with systems engineering and safety teams to ensure system performance and functional compliance.
Typical Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field with 6-8 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Experience in systems engineering or V&V activities for avionics or electrical systems.
  • Understanding of requirements verification methods and system integration testing.
  • Experience with requirements management and verification tracking tools.
  • Experience supporting lab testing, system integration, or flight test activities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
Preferred Skills
  • Understanding of aerospace development standards such as ARP4754B.
  • Familiarity with DO-178C and DO-254 development assurance processes.
  • Knowledge of ARP4761A safety assessment processes.
  • Experience with HIL/SIL testing environments.
  • Experience with Polarion, MATLAB/Simulink, Python, NI LabVIEW, or similar tools.
  • Experience supporting FAA/EASA/DGCA/CEMILAC certification programs.
  • Knowledge of configuration management and compliance documentation.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex system integration issues.
