Role Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated Sales Manager to lead sales and business development activities for Phenol, Resorcinol, and related downstream derivatives. The role requires a strong background in chemical manufacturing & specialty chemicals, proven expertise in customer acquisition, and relationship management across domestic and international markets.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
  • Drive sales growth of Phenol, Resorcinol, and related chemistries.
  • Identify new business opportunities across pharma, agrochemicals, adhesives, rubber chemicals, and specialty applications.
  • Achieve defined sales targets, revenue, and profitability goals.

Customer Engagement & Key Accounts

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers in domestic and global markets.
  • Understand customer requirements and provide technical-commercial solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and long-term supply agreements.

Market Intelligence & Strategy

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing movements in Phenol and Resorcinol markets.
  • Provide inputs to senior management for product positioning and business planning.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Production, and Supply Chain teams for customized solutions and timely deliveries.

Operational & Reporting

  • Ensure timely order execution, credit control, and receivable collections.
  • Prepare regular MIS, sales forecasts, and performance reports.
  • Represent the company in industry events, trade fairs, and exhibitions.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline; MBA preferred.
  • 5 –10 years of experience in sales/business development of specialty chemicals or KSMs.
  • Strong knowledge of Phenol & Resorcinol chemistry and their applications.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and growing key accounts.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
