Role : Principal Scientist-Speciality Polymer (Polyurethanes, Polyamides, Polyols)
Role Overview
Scimplify is seeking a Speciality Polymer R&D Leader to lead innovation and process development in polyurethane systems, polyamides, and polyos for speciality industrial applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead polymer synthesis and formulation development.
- Drive new product development for specialty polymer applications.
- Develop scalable processes for polyurethane, polyamide, and polyol systems.
- Work closely with commercial teams to translate market requirements into product innovation.
- Manage pilot scale development and technology transfer to manufacturing.
- Build strong collaborations with global customers and research partners.
- Lead and mentor the polymer R&D team.
Qualifications
- PhD / M.Tech in Polymer Chemistry, Material Science, or Chemical Engineering.
- Strong experience in polymer synthesis and formulation chemistry.
- Experience in global/MNC R&D environments.
- Minimum 10+ years of leadership experience in R&D.
