Role Overview
Scimplify is looking for a Business Development professional with strong international exposure in Contract Manufacturing (CMO/CDMO). The role will focus on driving global partnerships, identifying contract manufacturing opportunities, and building long-term customer relationships across international markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business development for contract manufacturing opportunities across global markets.
- Identify and engage with international customers seeking CMO/CDMO partnerships.
- Build strong techno-commercial relationships with clients and manufacturing partners.
- Work closely with R&D, sourcing, and manufacturing teams to develop customized solutions for customers.
- Lead commercial discussions, proposal development, and contract negotiations.
- Understand customer requirements and translate them into manufacturing and technical solutions.
- Track global market opportunities and develop strategic partnerships in contract manufacturing.
- Manage end-to-end BD cycle from lead generation to project closure.
Key Requirements
- 6–12 years of experience in Contract Manufacturing / CMO / CDMO business development.
- Strong international business exposure with global clients.
- Techno-commercial experience in specialty chemicals, pharma intermediates, or related sectors.
- Experience in custom manufacturing / contract manufacturing business models.
- Strong client relationship management and negotiation skills.
