Role Summary

Own and grow Scimplify's supply chain financing (SCF) ecosystem by building and managing relationships with NBFCs and financing partners, driving programme onboarding and utilisation, maintaining accurate MIS, aligning internal stakeholders, and tracking the investment deployed and returns generated across SCF arrangements.

Key Responsibilities


1. NBFC Connect & Onboarding
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard NBFCs and financing platforms for supply chain financing programmes.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, limits, pricing, and documentation with NBFC partners.
  • Maintain a live pipeline of prospective and active NBFC partners and lead all initial connects.
2. Supply Chain Financing
  • Structure and operate SCF programmes (vendor / supplier financing, dealer financing, bill discounting, factoring) for Scimplify's ecosystem.
  • Drive programme utilisation, limit enhancement, and optimal borrowing cost across partners.
  • Ensure timely disbursements, repayments, and reconciliation across all SCF facilities.
3. MIS Management
  • Build and maintain accurate, timely MIS covering limits, utilisation, ageing, repayments, and pricing across all SCF / NBFC arrangements.
  • Produce periodic dashboards and reports for management, founders, and partner reviews.
  • Ensure data integrity and reconciliation between internal records and partner statements.
4. Relationship Management – NBFCs & SCF Partners
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for NBFC and SCF partners; manage day-to-day operations and escalations.
  • Conduct periodic reviews, share required data, and maintain strong, compliant partner relationships.
  • Manage renewals, covenant compliance, and documentation across partners.
5. Internal Stakeholder Management
  • Coordinate with procurement, sales, finance, controllership, and business teams to align SCF programmes with operational needs.
  • Educate and onboard internal stakeholders and vendors/dealers onto SCF programmes.
  • Resolve cross-functional issues to ensure smooth programme execution.
6. Investment of Excess Liquidity & Returns Tracking
  • Deploy surplus / idle cash into approved instruments (FDs, liquid funds, money market) per the treasury investment policy, balancing safety, liquidity, and yield.
  • Track investments by instrument, counterparty, tenor, and yield, and report realised returns and effective yield versus benchmarks.
  • Ensure compliance with counterparty limits and policy guidelines, and recommend deployment strategies based on cash flow projections.

Candidate Profile

  • Graduate / Postgraduate in Finance, Commerce, or related field (CA / MBA Finance preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in treasury, supply chain finance, NBFC, or banking with strong lender/NBFC relationships.
  • Strong MIS, Excel, and analytical skills; sound understanding of SCF structures and credit.
