About Scimax
Scimax is the manufacturing arm of Scimplify, focused on producing high-quality specialty chemicals for global customers across Agro, Pharma, and Industrial Chemicals. We are looking for a proactive and hands-on Factory HR professional to lead end-to-end HR operations at our manufacturing facility and create a compliant, employee-centric workplace.
Role Overview
The Factory HR will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations at the manufacturing plant, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, industrial relations, statutory compliance, payroll coordination, contract labour management, and HR administration. The role requires close collaboration with Corporate HR, Plant Leadership, and functional teams to ensure seamless people operations while maintaining compliance with applicable labour laws.
Key Responsibilities

HR Operations

  • Manage end-to-end HR operations for the manufacturing plant.
  • Handle onboarding, induction, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and exit formalities.
  • Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and personnel files.
  • Manage attendance, leave administration, shift rosters, and manpower records.
  • Ensure timely issuance of appointment letters, confirmation letters, and statutory documentation.

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Act as the primary HR point of contact for plant employees.
  • Address employee grievances and maintain a healthy work environment.
  • Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives, celebrations, and welfare activities.
  • Support disciplinary actions in line with company policies.

Payroll & HR Administration

  • Coordinate monthly payroll inputs, attendance, overtime, leave records, and statutory deductions.
  • Maintain employee master data in HRMS.
  • Support payroll audits and ensure data accuracy.

Compliance & Statutory Requirements

  • Ensure compliance with:
    • Factories Act
    • Labour Codes
    • PF
    • ESIC
    • Bonus Act
    • Gratuity Act
    • Minimum Wages Act
    • Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act
    • Shops & Establishment Act (where applicable)
  • Coordinate statutory inspections and maintain compliance records.
  • Maintain all statutory registers and documentation.

Contract Labour Management

  • Manage contract labour deployment and attendance.
  • Coordinate with labour contractors and vendors.
  • Verify contractor compliance documents, wage records, PF, ESIC, and statutory obligations.

Performance & Learning

  • Support performance management and employee development initiatives.
  • Coordinate training programs, induction sessions, and statutory safety training.
  • Maintain training records and competency documentation.

HR Reporting

  • Prepare monthly HR dashboards and MIS reports.
  • Track manpower, recruitment, attrition, absenteeism, overtime, and compliance metrics.
  • Support HR audits and management reviews.
Desired Candidate Profile
  • MBA/MSW/PGDM in Human Resources.
  • 4–8 years of experience in Factory HR/Plant HR.
  • Prior experience in Chemical, Agrochemical, Pharmaceutical, API, Specialty Chemicals, or Manufacturing industries.
  • Strong knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance.
  • Experience handling contract labour management.
  • Exposure to payroll coordination and attendance management.
  • Good understanding of HRMS and MS Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a manufacturing environment.
