Job Title: Business Development Manager
Location: Bangalore
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager / Associate Vice President to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in client acquisition, relationship management across wealth management and portfolio management services. This role requires a willingness to travel as needed and a commitment to driving business growth through strategic sales initiatives.
Requirements:
- Good understanding of financial markets, financial services and investment products
- Proven sales experience of 5-7 years in in wealth management and portfolio management services.
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders.
- Experience in client acquisition and managing a successful sales portfolio.
- Willingness to travel as required for business purposes
- Strong business sense and industry expertise.
- Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a business development plan that aligns with the firm's overall growth strategy
- Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to target them
- Build relationships with potential clients
- Present the firm's products and services to potential clients and close deals
- Manage a pipeline of active opportunities and track progress towards sales goals
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure that all clients are properly serviced
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments
- Represent the firm at industry events and conferences
Education:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
