Responsibilities

Proofread breaking articles, and ensure contents adhere to the themes and style guide best practices while coordinating with Seeking Alpha’s news editors for revision and feedback.

  • Work a minimum of 5-day, 9-hour, work-from-home shifts with a 30-minute break.
  • Cover U.S. market hours, weekend shifts (8:00 PM to 5:00 AM Indian standard time, Thursday to Monday every week)
  • Display strong editing, proofreading, publishing, and content management skills, and commitment to quality and timely deliverables.
  • Gain an in-depth understanding of Seeking Alpha’s content management system, working processes, and global editorial policies.
  • Contribute to the seamless global workflow on Seeking Alpha’s interactive website by being available to work in shifts in line with U.S., Israel, and India timings.

Requirements

  • Significant publications/ website experience, with a minimum of three years of professional editorial experience in stock market-related finance.
  • A sophisticated understanding of the financial markets, with a keen commitment to enhancing the knowledge base relating to the U.S. stock markets.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in the English language (with emphasis on good grammar)
  • Exhibit a flair for proofreading.
  • Strong understanding of financial, investment, and business terminology.
