About the job

This role will drive the strategy and execution of efforts designed to improve lead conversion of growth marketing efforts on twilio.com, segment.com and sendgrid.com. The primary focus of this role will be leading the optimization and testing strategy of web pages built for lead capture working closely with internal stakeholders. This includes creating buy-in for product vision both internally and with key external partners. The role will report to the Sr. Director of Web and will work closely with Marketing, Design/UX, Analytics and Engineering teams.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Create and manage A/B tests and personalized experiences in 3rd party platforms (Adobe Target, Optimizely, Mutiny, Segment, etc.)
  • Develop and execute personalization roadmap derived from data, insights and hypotheses
  • Work closely with the UX and Web Engineering teams to create new web pages and experiments to drive lead generation and improved conversion rates
  • Optimize existing pages and forms to improve conversion, with an eye on full-funnel performance
  • Strategize with the Marketing team on channel or campaign-specific experiments to improve conversion
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
  • Increase adoption and optimization for our self service trial workspaces and interactive product tours
  • Act as the primary business stakeholder for internal website analytics implementation and tracking, including setting up and aggregating data and inferences across a variety of analytic tools we use internally (GA4, Looker, Mixpanel, Snowflake, and others)
  • Define requirements for site instrumentation and tracking
  • Share insights and experiment results with the broader Marketing team
  • Define, monitor, and measure success metrics after launch.
  • Consistently integrate behavioral data and feedback into key product decisions
  • Liaise with various Twilio counterpart stakeholders to ideate, release and track company promotions or alignment

Required:

  • 5+ years experience developing A/B testing and personalization frameworks, with an understanding of performance throughout the web and sales funnels
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to monitor website performance, interpret and storytell with data and generate actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with website instrumentation for Marketing performance tracking
  • Familiarity with testing and personalization platforms (Adobe Target, Optimizely, Mutiny, Segment, etc)
  • Exposure to popular advertising platforms (Google, Facebook, LinkedIn) as well as CRM tools like Salesforce
  • Exposure to internally owned pages at all stages in the funnel and experience with how to effectively use them to acquire leads and customers both short and long-term
  • Proficiency in data tools/programs like Excel, Looker, Tableau, etc
  • History of strong working relationships with both Marketing and Engineering teams
  • You may not be a designer, but you have an eye for great design and user experiences. You may not be a developer, but you understand system design and technical trade-offs
  • You are collaborative and are able to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders audiences across all levels of the organization.

Desired:

  • Experience at a B2B company or companies with similar acquisition flows
  • Familiarity with the Twilio, Sendgrid and Segment products
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and build effective working relationships with all levels of the organization.

This role will be based in the United States.

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:

  • Based in Colorado: $112,320 - $140,400.

  • Based in New York, Washington State, or California (outside of the San Francisco Bay area): $118,960 - $148,700.

  • Based in the San Francisco Bay area, California: $132,160 - $165,200.

  • This role may be eligible to participate in equity plan and corporate bonus plan. All roles are eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
