What Are We Looking For?

We are seeking a highly-motivated, adaptable and results-oriented Staff Accountant to join our Accounting team. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a critical role in maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures. You will work closely with the accounting team to support various accounting functions and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

What Will You Do?

  • Cash Processing: Effect wire transfers and ACHs to vendors or external parties in a timely manner in response to requests in accordance with established procedures. Take ownership of timely matching of cash transactions as part of the month-end close process. Perform monthly bank reconciliations to verify accuracy and completeness of financial transactions.
  • Accounts Payable: Work closely with the India shared service center team, processing accounts payable to assist with timely processing where needed during US business hours, including assisting with ad-hoc queries from suppliers.
  • Expense Management: Work closely with the India shared service center team, processing expense reports to assist with queries from employees in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • General Ledger Maintenance and Account Reconciliations: Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data. Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations for balance sheet accounts to ensure accurate reporting, and maintain integrity of the general ledger. Participate in driving the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring deadlines are met and financial data is accurately recorded.
  • Audit Support: Collaborate with auditors during financial audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
  • Financial Analysis: Perform month-end variance analysis to identify discrepancies and trends, providing insights to aid in decision-making and financial planning. Take ownership of assisting in responding to accounting and financial questions related to specific account balances by researching, analyzing and interpreting spreadsheets and data.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of disclosures for financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with GAAP.

What Skills and Knowledge Should You Bring?

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification or progress toward CPA preferred.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, namely Excel.
  • Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, and FloQast preferred.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
  • Positive attitude with a desire to learn and grow.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organization skills. Ability to research and interpret accounting guidance and apply it to specific situations.
  • Collaborative attitude with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and go the extra mile when needed.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

This U.S. role has a base pay range that will vary based on the location of the candidate. For some

locations, a different pay range may apply. If so, this range will be provided to you during the recruiting

Base Salary Range
$72,000$99,000 USD
