What are we looking for?
We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to building scalable, secure, and high-performance applications in our fast-growing Cloud Security productline. The services we own handle hundreds of millions of events daily through a Kafka pipeline, integrate with various cloud providers, enable real-time detection of misconfigurations and potential security risks in cloud environments, and provide visibility on them to the cyber analysts.
You will work across the stack, developing backend services and frontend interfaces that integrate seamlessly into our systems. We value a passion for learning, problem-solving, and building robust software.
What You’ll Do?
- Design, develop, and maintain BE services using Java, Go (used for most of our new development) or Python, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Build modern FE applications with TypeScript in React, ensuring seamless user experiences.
- Develop and maintain RESTful/GraphQL APIs for communication between FE, BE, and external services (we integrate with multiple services to enrich data).
- Work with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), Terraform, and tools like Docker, Helm and Kubernetes to deploy and manage services.
- Design efficient DB schemas (we use mostly Postgres) for the features.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, incl. product managers, designers, and security engineers, to deliver high-quality features.
- Participate in the full SDLC, from architecture and design to deployment and monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana).
What experience or knowledge should you bring?
- Knowing at least one backend programming language, preferably Java, Go or Python
- Knowing TypeScript, experience with React (or with Angular and willing to learn React)
- Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) highly desirable, but not a must
- Experience working in a highly distributed team is an advantage
- Clear, concise communication skills
