Shift’s Product Management team defines, builds and grows products that solve real problems for insurers. Great products led by great product managers can make a magnitude of difference in the success and scalability of Shift and our impact on insurance. Our Product Managers lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects and coordinate these projects through the software development lifecycle. We mobilise cross-functional teams, delivering solutions for scale and data-driven decision making to refine, launch, and take-to-market our solutions that delight our customers.

What you'll do…

As a Product Manager Intern, you’ll play an essential role in supporting and improving Shift’s Fraud Detection products. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Auditing our Fraud Detection demo UI to ensure it reflects the latest product features and delivers clear, understandable fraud cases for customers.
  • Enhancing customer-facing documentation for Shift’s API fraud detection offerings.
  • Auditing error responses of Shift’s API fraud detection offerings to improve customer experience.
  • Assisting in the implementation of the Shift developer portal for our Fraud Detection products.
  • Creating and refining feature announcement materials, ready for distribution to customers.
  • Conducting Go-to-Market research on targeted markets
  • Helping maintain Internal user Interface documentation

What you bring…

We are looking for candidates who are:

  • Enrolled in a university degree program at a leading French engineering or business school
  • Based in Paris
  • Very curious, motivated, and proactive
  • Not afraid to ask questions if don’t know or stuck in a process
  • Very interested in tech culture - coding skills are a plus, but not required
  • Enthusiastic about Go-to-Market topics
  • Able to empathise with customers and understand their needs.
  • Highly proficient in Google suite tools
  • Business fluent in English
  • Native French speakers are a big plus. Additional fluency in German and/or Spanish a big plus
