The Microfluidics group of Sigtuple Technologies Pvt Ltd in Bangalore, India is looking to recruit a candidate who has a keen interest and passion to do interdisciplinary research and development in the areas of Microfluidics. This person will be involved in hands-on machining and characterization of microfluidic cartridges using advanced techniques in plastics, metal and glass. Also, microfluidics slides preparation, assembly and testing.

Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who is highly driven to work in a medical diagnostic company. The right candidate will be responsible for providing quality craftsmanship in the fabrication and assembly of medical devices with minimal defects. The individual must exhibit attention to detail and follow a multi-step process precisely and rapidly.

Micromilling, laser cutting, xurography, injection molding, cleaning, coating, bonding and assembly of microfluidic slides in a cleanroom environment

Perform QC and follow the SOP

Qualification

Diploma or equivalent in mechanical/production engineering having 0-2 years experience in working with various mechanical machining processes such as milling, drilling, laser cutting, tapping, etc

Knowledge in the handling of MS-Office packages and CAD softwares like Solidworks, Autocad, etc

Experience in using measuring instruments such as screw gauge, vernier caliper, etc

Strong interest in learning and hands-on fabrication

Assembly of the medical device within a cleanroom environment.

Highly organized and attention to detail.

Can quickly learn and apply new skills and processes.

Good eye-hand coordination is needed.

Ability to work under timelines without compromising quality.

Moderate knowledge of English in spoken and written English.
