As an SDE III (Backend), you will –

  • Design and build scalable, high-performance backend systems using technologies like NodeJS, ExpressJS, and Solidity.
  • Lead architecture discussions and drive best practices for reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Assess security risks associated with the platform architecture and implement robust solutions.
  • Scale infrastructure to meet increasing demand and ensure high availability.
  • Understand the underlying blockchain architecture and improve APIs for internal/external consumption.
  • Build optimization algorithms to ensure faster settlement through the platform while minimizing technical/financial risk.
  • Set up and improve processes for easy deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of network infrastructure.
  • Mentor junior engineers, review code, and contribute to building a high-performing engineering culture.
  • Work closely with Product, DevOps, and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions.

As an SDE III (Backend), you must have -

  • 6+ years of working experience in backend/software engineering.
  • Strong experience building production systems for startups or established organizations.
  • Excellent command over Node.js and its internals.
  • Strong expertise in designing and developing RESTful APIs / web services using ExpressJS.
  • Hands-on experience with server-side technologies such as Python, Node.js, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, etc.
  • Strong command over cloud infrastructure – AWS (preferred), MS Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with system design, distributed systems, and performance optimization.
  • Keen attention to detail and passion for building high-quality products.
  • Applicants are strongly encouraged to share their Github/Bitbucket or product URLs.
  • Ability to learn fast and understand new concepts quickly.
  • Willingness to work in an agile startup environment and take complete ownership of responsibilities.
