About the role:

Skydio is seeking an experienced Growth Marketing leader to accelerate pipeline and revenue growth within the public safety segment. This role leads strategic planning and cross-functional execution of high-performing growth marketing campaigns that deliver pipeline results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with our public safety strategy and sales leaders to develop and lead the execution of integrated growth marketing programs that engage appropriate buy teams to grow and accelerate pipeline
  • Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams, including digital marketing, content development, social media, event marketing, email delivery, customer marketing, channel and others, to execute integrated campaigns
  • Own the development and management of the overall public safety marketing program calendar. Ensure cross-functional stakeholders understand what programs and activities are planned and executed
  • Analyze pipeline and marketing data regularly to report on campaign performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Use insights to optimize ongoing and future campaigns to exceed pipeline growth targets
  • Manage the marketing budget efficiently, ensuring spending is aligned with program objectives and campaigns deliver positive returns
  • Continuously test and iterate new marketing tactics and technologies to stay ahead of industry trends and improve the effectiveness of marketing efforts. Share learnings with the broader team.

  • Significant growth of market share in the public safety segment, specifically with growing Drone as First Responder (DFR) programs
  • Exceeding pipeline and revenue targets by leading well-thought-out strategies and campaigns that deliver results
  • Recognition for innovative marketing strategies that exceed the typical growth marketing standards.

What Would Make You a Good Fit:

  • 7-10 years of experience
  • Proven background in growth marketing, with demonstrable results in scaling integrated growth programs that delivered pipeline above $25MM
  • Exceptional at managing multiple initiatives simultaneously with a clear eye for details and the ability to prioritize effectively to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to curate the data necessary and glean insights to make informed recommendations and decisions that improve campaign success
  • Strong self-starter with significant experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams and partners to execute programs and achieve goals
  • Hands-on experience with the latest marketing tools and platforms, including Salesforce, Marketo, Bizible, common ad platforms, Google Analytics, ChatGPT as well as familiarity with personalization tools (we use Mutiny) and project management tools (we use
  • Creative mindset. You think about the audience, message and approach. Continuously questioning how we improve the message, the execution and the results
  • Ability to be in our San Mateo, CA office 3 days per week

Additional Desired Experience and Skills

  • 2-4 years public safety or government sector experience
  • Certifications in Google Analytics, AdWords, Marketo, Salesforce

Compensation Range: The annual base salary range for this position is $144,500 - $182,500. Compensation will vary based on factors, including skill level, proficiencies, transferable knowledge, and experience. In addition to base salary, Skydio full-time employees are eligible to enroll in our benefit plans and take advantage of a variety of incentives and stipends.
