This role bridges the gap between strategy and execution, forming the “connective tissue” between the central programs and regional field go-to-market teams.

It acts as a strategic partner to VP Global Enterprise and Field Marketing to ensure they are briefed on all upcoming events, priority programs, and escalation issues. You also prepare reports (using data and analysis from MOPS), bi-weekly marketing updates for ELT (compiling inputs from the marketing team), and presentations on behalf of the VP.

In addition, the Sr Manager of Marketing Strategy and Planning will be responsible for guiding strategic marketing initiatives to completion in collaboration with marketing leads. You will also participate in the ideation and development of the team’s communications strategies.

The ideal candidate for this role should have a proven understanding of general business functions and possess expert knowledge in marketing practices across all our disciplines (campaigns, events, demand gen etc) . You should also be a proactive, collaborative leader with a genuine interest in supporting and crafting alignment both within our diverse and remote marketing team, but also across other marketing functions. You’ll need excellent presentation skills, and the ability to draw on data to make recommendations and share insight with Marketing leadership and the broader team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist the VP of Field Marketing and senior leaders with various administrative tasks, such as budget planning, providing necessary preparation documents, participating in monthly/quarterly reviews, and developing new marketing strategies

  • Drive implementation and governance of communications initiatives in collaboration with various stakeholders in Slack/Core (eg. bi-weekly marketing update for ELT)

  • Assist other team members with interpreting and driving the Marketing leadership vision and intent regarding upcoming and ongoing marketing initiatives including V2MOM

  • Act as the primary point of contact for escalating team issues

  • Lead meetings and discussions with the marketing team in a way that promotes collaboration and showcases standard processes

  • Liaise with cross-functional teams such as Sales Strategy, MOPS, PMO on target setting, standardized dashboards, reporting consistencies, quarterly reviews and pipeline councils

  • Lead GIS Action Planning for Global Enterprise & Field Marketing

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in B2B marketing technology or SaaS marketing, with a focus on planning, strategy, and budget management

  • Ability to work cross-functionally, partnering optimally with teams such as sales strategy marketing ops and global field marketing

  • Demonstrable experience in working with distributed teams to ensure projects are delivered on time

  • Outstanding communication skills, with a curiosity about distilling data into actionable insights

  • Great interpersonal and communication skills, a critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills

  • A growth mindset, with a passion for learning and a dedication to continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications in marketing or campaign management.

  • Prior experience in a technology or SaaS company.

  • Global campaign experience.

  • Proficiency in using Salesforce CRM.
