The Role
We are seeking a talented and creative copywriter to join our growing creative services team. If you have a passion for crafting compelling and persuasive content, a keen eye for detail, and a desire to contribute to our brand's success, we want to hear from you.
To be considered for this full-time, in-house position, you will need to have previously worked in a B2B Technology/SaaS or Fintech company. You will work closely with our campaigns team, solutions marketing team and product marketng team to create engaging and effective content that resonates with our target audience.
Your primary responsibility will be to transcreate content in Italian, from English original versions. This will include transcration of messages, headlines, adverts, blog posts, ebooks and many other content types.
Your secondary responsibilities will be to write and edit content natively in Italian to support many different teams and stakeholders across our business, such as Field Marketing, Legal, Sales or Business Operations
Responsibilities:
- Content Transcreation: transcreate from English to Italian a variety of messages and narratives, ensuring that the orginal meaning is kept.
- Content Translation: translate a variety of content from/to English and Italian.
- Translation Dictionary: maintain a translation dictionary of Soldo terms and phrases to ensure consistency in our brand and our messaging.
- Content Creation: write clear, concise, and compelling copy for a variety of marketing and business materials, adhering to brand guidelines and maintaining consistency in tone and messaging.
- Editing and Proofreading: Review and edit content for accuracy, grammar, punctuation, and style, ensuring all content is error-free and polished.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, field marketing, and product marketing, to develop effective and cohesive copy.
- Content Optimisation: Work closely with our SEO team to optimise content for SEO by incorporating relevant keywords and phrases to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic.
- Adaptability: Be flexible and able to adapt your writing style to various platforms and target demographics.
- Meeting Deadlines: Consistently meet project deadlines and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Present copy concepts and final deliverables to internal team and seek feedback. Revise copy based on internal and at times external feedback
- Research: Conduct research to gather information and insights on industry trends, competitors, and target audience preferences to inform your writing.
- Briefing: Interpret briefs and develop concepts within specific campaigns, programmes, or projects.
- Project Management: you will be expected to project manage all your work and your deadline in our project management platform of choise (Airtable).
We're looking for someone who must have:
- Native-level Italian skills and business fluency in English.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where short turnaround times are to be expected.
- Experience meeting deadlines consistently and managing workload accordingly.
- Self-discipline and the ability to write fresh copy that connects with a desired audience and drives action.
- Ability to work with to vary the voice, style, and other characteristics of messaging based on the industry, company, or target audience.
- Ability to apply appropriate style guidelines and brand voice for consistent messaging.
- An open mindset and the ability to take feedback from a variety of stakeholders.
- Experience working with project management tools and to manage workload, feedback and deadlines in such tools.
- The ability to write either short form for ads and headlines, and long form for eBooks, blogs, articles and more.
- A good grasp of digital marketing trends and SEO principles to support content creation.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in journalism, Italian, Marketing, Communications, or related discipline.
- A breadth of content created for B2B technology companies, Fintech or SaaS companies.
- experience and familiarity with standard style guides
