As we continue to scale our platform and product capabilities, we are looking for a Product Documentation Manager to help define how customers learn, adopt, and succeed with Soldo.
This is a rare opportunity to own and shape how thousands of customers learn to get the most out of Soldo.
As Product Documentation Manager, you will be the architect of our customer education function, defining the approach, building the content ecosystem, and designing scalable learning experiences that help our customers succeed independently. You will work at the intersection of product, content, and customer experience, turning complex product functionality into clear, engaging, self-serve education.
This role sits within the Product organisation, reporting to the Head of Product Management, and collaborates closely with Product Management, Product Marketing, Customer Success, and Customer Interaction teams. The primary focus is external: creating education and documentation experiences that help customers onboard, adopt, and fully utilise Soldo’s platform. This role requires thoughtful design of learning experiences across both SMB and Enterprise customer environments, recognising the different levels of complexity, configurability, onboarding support, and user sophistication involved.
This is a builder role. You will have real ownership, the trust to make meaningful decisions, and the freedom to think creatively about how to scale impact, including through emerging AI tools and workflows. Your work will also serve as the foundation for how internal customer-facing teams learn and understand the product.
Customer Education & Documentation
- Define and own Soldo’s customer education approach, creating a coherent and consistent experience across all learning content platforms.
- Build and evolve a scalable, self-serve content ecosystem tailored by product area, use case, customer segment, and user role.
- Design structured learning experiences that support customer onboarding, adoption, progression, and long-term engagement.
- Design educational experiences that appropriately balance the needs of SMB and Enterprise customers, from lightweight self-serve onboarding to more complex role-based and workflow-oriented learning journeys.
- Define documentation standards, content structures, and best practices to ensure consistency and scalability.
Content Creation & Product Collaboration
Create and maintain customer-facing educational content including:
- how-to guides
- explainer articles
- release education
- video scripts
- structured learning paths
- Work closely with Product Managers to translate product functionality into clear, accurate, and actionable educational content.
- Ensure educational resources evolve continuously alongside the product.
- Champion the voice of the customer within product release processes to ensure learning resources are ready to support feature launches.
Localisation & Content Operations
- Own the localisation and adaptation of learning content across Soldo’s markets.
- Maintain a knowledge base that remains accurate, well-organised, discoverable, and genuinely useful for customers across regions.
- Establish scalable content governance and maintenance processes.
- Measure content effectiveness and identify opportunities to improve customer self-service and education outcomes.
Innovation & Scaling
- Explore and implement ways to scale content production and delivery through AI-assisted tools and workflows.
- Continuously improve how customers discover, consume, and engage with educational content.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and educational quality through automation and emerging technologies.
- Experience in customer education, learning & development, product documentation, technical writing, or related roles within a SaaS or technology environment.
- Proven experience building and owning end-to-end educational or documentation programmes, from ideation through to execution.
- Strong instinct for what helps users learn effectively in self-serve digital environments.
- Experience creating content across multiple formats including written guides, structured learning paths, video scripts, and instructional content.
- Excellent technical writing skills, with the ability to simplify complex product functionality into clear, engaging, and actionable content.
- Understanding of the different documentation, onboarding, and education needs of SMB and Enterprise customers within B2B SaaS environments.
- Comfortable working directly with Product and technical teams.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage large, evolving content ecosystems.
- Strong understanding of customer journeys, onboarding, and product adoption dynamics.
- Curiosity about how AI tools can augment content creation and scale educational programmes.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building new processes, systems, and standards from the ground up.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with a collaborative, low-ego approach.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Additional languages are a strong plus, particularly Italian, French, Spanish, or German.
