The Role
Soldo’s platform is designed to deliver an ever-increasing number of spend management solutions. Business Product Managers help ensure those solutions are clearly understood, effectively launched, and adopted by customers and commercial teams.
You will work closely with Product Management, Solutions Marketing, Sales and Customer Success to translate Soldo’s Product Value Framework and Solutions Architecture into clear launch narratives, enablement materials, customer-facing content and product thought leadership. You will explain the value of new product capabilities, organise product developments into meaningful launches, and help commercial teams understand what is changing, why it matters, and how to communicate it.
Responsibilities
Launch Communication and Positioning
- Organise product development activities into thematic launches, explaining the value of releases to enable Solutions Marketing to develop external messaging
- Act as the bridge between Solutions Marketing and the Product organisation for all launch activities
- Develop internal release notes to keep the Sales organisation informed about the specific capabilities of each release
Content and Product Thought Leadership
- Own and maintain product-related Sales content, from core decks to solution libraries to competitive battlecards to materials supporting pricing and packaging
- Support development of website product framing
- Own the creation of product thought leadership content, ranging from business process whitepapers to solutions architecture documents to product vision pieces
- Act as a spokesperson and presenter for Soldo at events, acting as an authority on Soldo’s proposition and capabilities
- Support analyst (Gartner, IDC, Forrester) engagement
- Create thought leadership on social and digital channels (e.g. LinkedIn) and participate in conversation in Soldo digital communities on an ongoing basis
- Contribute to Business Product Management’s core internal assets, including the Product Value Framework, Solutions Architecture and Value Quantification methodology
Sales Enablement and Customer Engagement
- Run onboarding sessions for Solution Consultants, Onboarding Specialists, CSMs in collaboration with Sales Enablement
- Provide dedicated training to the overall Sales organisation on new product capabilities
- Own and evolve the content and strategy for Customer Advisory Board and User Group sessions in virtual and physical formats
- Present and act as the key host for these engagements and provide post-event insights to all relevant teams
Must have
- Experience in a product strategy, strategic product marketing, solutions strategy or commercially oriented product role within a B2B SaaS environment or as part of a consulting organisation.
- Strong understanding of Mid-Market and Enterprise customer environments and buying dynamics.
- Ability to translate customer problems, product capabilities and commercial value into clear narratives, enablement materials and customer-facing content.
- Strong strategic thinking and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex product and market topics into clear, practical messages for different audiences.
- Experience supporting product or solution launches, including launch narratives, release communications, Sales enablement and GTM readiness.
- Strong storytelling capability, with experience producing or contributing to thought leadership, whitepapers, product narratives, customer presentations or executive-facing content.
- Comfortable acting as a subject matter expert in market-facing settings, including customer meetings, Sales enablement sessions, events, Customer Advisory Boards, User Groups or analyst engagements.
- Commercially minded, with the ability to connect product capabilities to customer outcomes, value drivers, ROI logic and commercial conversations.
- Comfortable engaging directly with Sales, Solution Consultants, Customer Success, customers and prospects to understand needs, test messaging and support commercial conversations.
- Strong writing, presentation and stakeholder influence skills, with the ability to create high-quality content for Sales, customers, events, analysts and digital channels.
- Sufficient product and technical fluency to understand new capabilities, work credibly with Product teams, and translate product releases into customer-facing value.
- Experience in spend management, procurement, finance automation, or broader Office of the CFO software is highly desirable.
