The People Systems Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day administration and support of the HR technology stack. This role ensures systems are functioning effectively, data is accurate, and employees and stakeholders receive timely support. The Analyst serves as the first point of contact for HR systems questions, manages routine system updates, and delivers standard reports and data exports to support People Operations. This role is also expected to proactively identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to improve efficiency, reduce manual work, and enhance the employee experience

HR Systems Administration & Support

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee and manager questions related to HR systems
  • Troubleshoot system issues and escalate more complex problems as needed
  • Execute routine system tasks, including employee data updates, workflows, and permissions
  • Monitor system performance and proactively flag issues
  • Maintain system data accuracy through regular audits and updates
  • Support the day-to-day operations of core HR systems (e.g., ADP, 15Five, compensation tools)
  • Assist with system testing, implementations, and configuration updates
  • Maintain documentation for system processes, workflows, and user guidance
  • Ensure systems align with business processes

Reporting & Data Support

  • Generate standard and recurring reports for People Operations and business stakeholders
  • Fulfill ad hoc data requests through data exports and basic reporting
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of reported data
  • Maintain and follow established reporting processes and definitions
  • Partner with senior team members on more complex reporting needs

Data Quality & Process Support

  • Monitor and maintain data integrity across systems
  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies and inconsistencies
  • Support data governance practices and documentation
  • Contribute to improving reporting efficiency and reducing manual processes

AI & Automation Mindset

  • Proactively identify opportunities to use AI tools to streamline day-to-day tasks, reporting, and employee support
  • Leverage AI to improve efficiency in data retrieval, report generation, and documentation
  • Experiment with new AI capabilities and incorporate them into existing workflows where appropriate
  • Ensure accuracy and quality control of AI-assisted outputs.
  • Share learnings and effective use cases with the broader People team

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in HR systems, HR operations, or data/reporting support
  • Experience working with ADP required
  • Proficiency in Excel or similar tools for data handling and reporting
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Problem-solving mindset with ability to troubleshoot system issues
  • Strong communication skills with a customer-service orientation
  • Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritize effectively
  • Exposure to tools such as 15Five, Lever, ADP, Mercer/Comptryx, or similar platforms is preferred
