Spotify is seeking a manager to join our dynamic Ad Sales Operations & Strategy team! The Sales Ops team maximizes business growth and performance by being the objective, trusted partner to the Sales Leadership. As the Manager of EMEA Sales Ops, you will also work closely with the FP&A, Product, Marketing, and Business Operations teams. You will use your strategic thinking and analytical skills to provide data-driven insights, execute strategic initiatives, and build/refine operational processes within the Spotify Ads business. This role reports to the Head of International Sales Operations.
What You'll Do
- Identify business trends and shifts, and recommend data-driven strategies and recommendations to EMEA Sales Leadership.
- Responsible for the weekly assembly and delivery of sales performance insights: dashboards, revenue forecasting, pipeline analysis, segmentation and account assignments, win rates, etc.
- Identify and support project rollouts for new tools and process changes to increase the efficiency of our sales teams.
- You will champion growth strategies that meaningfully impact our business while providing ongoing revenue transparency through operational excellence.
- Engage with Sellers, Sales Directors, and Regional Heads of Sales to garner feedback on the sales process and seek opportunities to drive improvements and challenge the status quo.
- Support the Quarterly and Annual Planning & Achievement processes related to sales strategies, team and individual quotas, commissions, and market/territory analysis.
- Manage a team of two Sales Operations analysts based in London who provide regional support to our Heads of Sales.
- Own any data and analysis for internal Quarterly and ad-hoc Business Review sessions on behalf of the regional and country leads.
- Support ad hoc reporting, analysis, and troubleshooting for the EMEA Ad Sales teams.
- Periodic travel may be required to various EMEA countries.
Who You Are
- 5+ years of digital media experience in a strategic and analytical capacity
- Experience in managing and coaching direct reports is preferred
- Familiarity with Tableau CRM or another BI tool, as well as experience in connecting to multiple data sources, creating reports and dashboards; experience with SQL is preferred
- Experience working with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce, and other sales productivity tools
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills and the ability to identify trends and propose solutions
- Capacity to drive necessary sales process improvements
- The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated growth mindset and creative problem-solving ability in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent collaboration skills for working across departments and with individuals to achieve revenue growth
- Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree or higher from a leading College or University
