Job Description

If you dream of shaping a brand story that catapults a home grown Gen AI B2B SaaS company to global market dominance, then this Head of Marketing role is your launchpad!

We're a rapidly scaling B2B SaaS company on a mission to disrupt the Global Automotive Software industry, which has been dominated by incumbents with 50+ years of existence. Fueled by innovation and a passionate team, we're experiencing explosive growth, and we need a visionary marketing leader to work along with us and together drive to greater heights.

As Head of Marketing, you'll be the architect of our brand narrative, crafting a strategy that fuels lead generation, customer acquisition, and industry recognition. You'll wear many hats, leading a dynamic marketing team and overseeing all facets of our go-to-market approach, including Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Brand Marketing, Event Marketing, Community growth and Sales enablement.

Job Responsibilities

Demand Generation function:

  • SEO & Content Marketing: Manage and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns across SEO, SEM, content marketing, social media marketing, email marketing, and marketing automation platforms.
  • Email & LinkedIn Marketing: Develop and nurture lead nurturing campaigns across email and LinkedIn platforms to generate and convert leads into qualified opportunities for the sales team.
  • Performance Marketing: Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns (PPC, social media ads) to drive high-quality traffic and leads. Track, measure, and analyze campaign performance using marketing attribution tools to identify areas for improvement and optimize ROI.

Product Marketing Function

  • Market Strategy & Messaging: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to understand industry trends and identify key differentiators. Develop and refine the product positioning and messaging that clearly communicates value propositions to target audiences. Create compelling product collateral (e.g., one-pagers, battle cards, presentations) for sales and marketing teams.
  • Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy & Execution: Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define product launches and feature releases. Develop comprehensive GTM plans for new features and product updates, encompassing launch campaigns and communication strategies. Manage the product launch process, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and prepared.
  • Content Creation & Management: Create high-quality content (e.g., blog posts, case studies, white papers, webinars) across various marketing channels. Manage the product content lifecycle, ensuring all content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with current messaging.
  • Metrics & Analytics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of product marketing initiatives (e.g., brand awareness, website traffic, leads generated). Regularly report on product marketing performance and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.

Brand Marketing Function

  • Create Brand identity and story: Manage the brand's visual identity, including the creation and maintenance of brand guidelines. Develop and execute strategic branding campaigns that effectively communicate the company's value proposition to our target audience.
  • Create Brand content strategy: Develop and manage the brand's content strategy, including the creation of engaging and informative content that resonates with our target audience. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and positioning across all channels and platforms.
  • Event Marketing: Build event marketing strategies and help company position as leading brand in Automotive expos happening across the world, esp in the US and in the EU regions. Manage the brand's presence at industry events and conferences.
  • Community Building: Build a thriving community of Automotive enthusiasts and dealers, esp the ones from the US and the EU regions. Create content and user growth strategies for the community.

Sales Enablement Function

  • Product Adoption & Enablement: Develop product marketing programs and resources (e.g., user guides, training materials, product demos, case studies, etc) to drive user adoption and product knowledge. Collaborate with the sales team to create effective sales enablement tools and training programs. Track product usage data and analyze user behavior to identify areas for improvement and feature adoption.
  • Training: Develop and deliver impactful sales training programs on product knowledge, selling techniques, and objection handling. Coach and mentor sales reps on effective sales methodologies and best practices. Facilitate peer-to-peer learning and knowledge sharing among sales reps.

Job Requirements

  • Over 8+ years in B2B marketing with 4+ years in a growth/lead generation role for SaaS companies.
  • An MBA from a Tier 1 college - ISB, IIM preferred with 4+ years of experience post MBA
  • A positive "can-do" attitude, with a desire to extend existing skills and be a problem solver
  • An ROI driven Direct Response marketing strategy
  • Outstanding time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Hands-on experience on Hubspot Professional/Enterprise platform. 4+ years of having managed lifecycle stages, creating automation workflows, custom fields, reporting dashboards to join data tables across multiple objects, email sequences, lead scoring.
  • Experience setting up and executing marketing campaigns to engage, nurture and acquire enterprise accounts with a multi-touch, cross-channel approach.
  • Experience with marketing B2B SaaS products in US, European and global markets.
  • Experienced in managing industry event sponsorships, webinars, and field marketing activations to engage target accounts and nurture marketing leads into sales opportunities over time.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with customer-facing experience in an enterprise setting as an added advantage.
  • Must be comfortable working with MarTech stack to manage, track and optimize the digital experience across Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Amplitude/MixPanel, Google Data Studio, Metabase, Slintel/Lusha/Zoominfo/Sales Navigator, and other similar enterprise-grade platforms.
