Squarespace's People Team is looking for a Senior Lead who will provide first-class People Operations support to our business throughout our employee's entire lifecycle and act as an escalation point for complex support cases. We are a collaborative, dedicated, and agile team, who pride ourselves in excellent execution and customer service. You will work with the broader People Team and partner cross-functionally to implement People processes for our global population and contribute to the continuous improvement of our organization.

You will manage the daily operations of our global workforce outside of the US and supporting the wider People Operations team. You will report directly to the Head of People Operations & Technology and will be based in our Dublin Office (Hybrid/Flexible).

You'll Get To...

  • Overall responsibility for support requests (Tier 1 -2) supporting the People Operations Analyst and ensuring quality and consistency of responses through to resolution.
  • Responsible for more complex support requests (Tier 3) that can't be resolved by the People Operations Analyst
  • Partner with COEs on the maintenance of Squarespace People global policies outside of the US complying with local employment legislation.
  • Partner with Learning and Development for upkeep and maintenance of our weekly employee onboarding
  • Support the audit of People policies to resolve compliance gaps
  • Partner with HR Tech on gathering business requirements, testing and deploying configurations in Workday
  • Aggregate and analyse employee inquiries from JIRA to inform our decision-making matrix
  • Manage the employment contract and severance repository outside of the US
  • Responsible for HR-Payroll handoffs for all entities outside of the US
  • Backup for Immigration Lead on immigration matters outside of the US
  • Responsible for all HR compliance fillings outside of the US

Who We're Looking For...

  • 5-7 years of experience leading in an HR Operations role or other HR relevant experience
  • 2+ years people management experience
  • Experience partnering and supporting global Payroll and Benefits functions.
  • Knowledge of employment legislation in Ireland is desirable and knowledge of other countries including Portugal, the UK, The Netherlands, Australia and Poland would be beneficial.
  • Ability to handle various tasks with overlapping deadlines
  • Exudes credibility when providing support to employees
  • Experience using HCM Systems (Workday preferred)
  • Experience working with a Global payroll provider is desirable
  • Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field
