About the Marketing Coordinator / Marketing Event Manager Position

We are looking for a dynamic individual who can handle multiple marketing areas from event coordination to social media management. Strong organizational and communication skills, coupled with experience in the tech industry, are essential.

Marketing Coordinator / Marketing Event Manager Responsibilities

  • Event Coordination: Support all aspects of virtual and in-person events including logistics, banners, staffing coordination, and post-event support.
  • Social Media: Maintain Stairwell's social media calendar, growing and engaging followers with the latest news.
  • Website Maintenance: Ensure the company website showcases the latest news and content, including blogs, media coverage, award recognitions, etc.
  • Collateral Development: Project manage collateral and multimedia development working with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and in-house/3rd party graphic artists.
  • General Marketing Support: Being an early-stage start-up, support all other marketing-related projects as needs arise.

Marketing Coordinator / Marketing Event Manager Qualifications

  • 2+ years of related marketing experience is a must.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to execute with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Experience in a start-up environment is strongly preferred.
  • Based in the Bay Area, CA - strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Experience with martech including WordPress, Hootsuite, Salesforce, etc., is a plus.
  • Experience in cybersecurity or other high-tech industries is a plus.

Salary range $100,000-$120,000.
