Overview

The Sr. Learning Designer is responsible for driving the design, development, and delivery of high-quality learning experiences. This role features expertise in instructional design skills to ensure seamless, effective, and accessible learning and development across the organization.

Responsibilities

Instructional Design and Development

  • Learning Strategy:Partner with stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to conduct needs assessments, learning objectives, and recommend appropriate instructional strategies and delivery modalities (e.g., e-learning, blended, instructor-led, microlearning).

  • Design & Development:Design, develop, and revise engaging and effective learning content, ensuring alignment with adult learning principles and organizational goals.

  • Quality Assurance: Conduct quality assurance reviews of learning assets for accuracy, consistency, accessibility and technical functionality.

  • Evaluation:Utilize evaluation strategies to measure the effectiveness and business impact of learning programs; use data to continuously iterate and improve content.

  • Tool Proficiency:Utilize instructional design tools such as Articulate to create professional and interactive learning assets.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Human Resources, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in instructional design and curriculum development.

Skills and Competencies

  • Proven ability to apply instructional design models to create engaging learning solutions.

  • Exposure and experience structuring learning assets within at least one major LMS platform

  • Proficiency with industry-standard e-learning authoring tools

  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

  • Superior verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively consult with and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Starting salary/wage for this opportunity:

$74,773.20 to $99,697.60
