The Sr. Recruiting Effectiveness & Onboarding Partner is an architect of the Sunrun new employee journey. Reporting to the Senior Manager of People Acquisition Effectiveness and Onboarding, you will bridge the gap between "candidate" and "employee." You aren't just managing processes, you are ensuring that from the first click on our job posting to the end of their first 90 days, every Sunrunner feels empowered, informed, and inspired
Responsibilities
Program & Project Management
Strategic Rollouts: Lead the implementation of new recruiting tools, policies, and workflows. Act in a key supporting role for RFPs and vendor selection.
The Recruiter "Voice": Serve as the primary liaison for our recruiting teams; transform their daily challenges into operational solutions and ensure they have the tools to succeed.
Process Optimization: Act as the SME for all recruitment processes. Conduct rigorous testing on current and incoming tools and workflows to eliminate friction and improve the user experience.
Onboarding Excellence
Journey Ownership: Own the system and communication maintenance for onboarding across all business channels.
Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner with functional teams to ensure onboarding experiences feel personal and customized while remaining consistent across our diverse workforce.
Talent Branding & Content
Content Strategy: Develop and execute a content roadmap that brings the Sunrun culture to life for both active and passive candidates.
Digital Presence: Maintain our career site (Radancy) and ensure our external messaging is consistent and compelling across all attraction channels.
Governance & Insights
Audits & Compliance: Conduct regular data audits to ensure our hiring practices and policies remain accurate, ethical, and compliant.
Reporting: Turn raw data into stories. Highlight recruitment trends and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
Operational Support
Vendor Management: Manage external partnerships, including the evaluation of new enhancements, performance reporting, and budget tracking.
Knowledge Management: Lead the development and maintenance of training materials and toolkits for the People Acquisition team.
Support Triage: Oversee recruiting operations inboxes (including support, fraud, and accommodations) to ensure timely resolution and high-touch support for escalated issues. Will be the frontline support for recruiting teams.
Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years in HR Ops, Recruiting, Employer Branding, or a related field.
Technical Savvy: Expert-level proficiency in Workday (HRIS and Recruiting) is required. Experience with design tools (Canva/Figma) and career site platforms (Radancy) is a significant plus.
Communication: A "storyteller" mindset with the ability to write compelling copy and present data clearly to stakeholders.
Project Mastery: Proven track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects in a fast-paced environment.
Analytical Mindset: A proactive approach to problem-solving. You don’t just find errors, you find patterns and permanent solutions.
Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing AI tools to enhance productivity and streamline workflows, or possess the agility and growth mindset to rapidly master new AI technologies as they are integrated into Sunrun’s operations.
