If you’re the kind of person who can’t stop thinking about markets, loves turning messy information into compelling stories, and wants a front-row seat inside a fast-growing ETF platform, keep reading.

This is not a role where you “support” from the sidelines. You’ll work directly with the President of Tema ETFs—as well as marketing, sales, and investment functions—as a true right-hand partner. If you bring energy, judgment, and follow-through, you’ll have real responsibility quickly and a hand in building products and narratives that show up in the $20 trillion global ETF market.

The Role

The Research Analyst will be a high-impact generalist who helps drive investment research, product development, and client-ready presentations across Tema’s ETF lineup. You’ll work to illuminate high-growth themes, core exposures, and alternatives, partnering closely with senior leaders to translate ideas into clear insights and “ready-to-use” deliverables.

Think: Markets + research + PowerPoint craft + commercial instincts—delivered at startup speed.

What You’ll Do

• Be the company President’s wing-person: Own key workstreams, stay one step ahead, and help move priorities from idea to execution.
• Build investment narratives: Turn research into tight, client-ready messaging (decks, one-pagers, FAQs, talk tracks, etc).
• Help us create new products: Yes, seriously. Support product ideation and development with market sizing, competitive landscapes, investability screens, and “why now” research.
• Make killer PowerPoints: This isn’t Amazon—good decks matter to Tema and its clients. Produce polished presentations with strong structure, visuals, and hierarchy.
• Be resourceful with data: Pull, clean, analyze, and QC data (performance, fundamentals, flows, holdings, macro/sector) across multiple sources.
• Track what matters: Monitor markets and industry trends, then synthesize what’s relevant for us.
• Operate with urgency: Jump on time-sensitive asks, solve problems quickly, and push work across the finish line.

What We’re Looking For

• 1 to 3 years of experience in equity research, asset management, investment banking, consulting, fintech, or a similarly rigorous environment.
• Markets obsession: You follow markets because you genuinely like it.
• Commercial mindset: You understand research only matters if it can be communicated and used.
• Strong PowerPoint skills: You can build crisp, modern slides quickly, and you care about detail.
• Owner mentality: You manage up, take initiative, and have a bias toward action.
• Excellent writing: Clear, structured, and punchy.

**A demonstrated knack for getting things done matters more than years of experience**

Preferred

• Progress toward the CFA (enrolled and/or passed Level I/II).
• Familiarity with ETFs and markets (how funds are built, how they trade, how advisors use them).
• Comfort with Excel and common market data tools (Bloomberg, FactSet, Morningstar, etc). Bonus for basic Python/SQL.
