The Role

We're hiring a Marketing Manager to help accelerate the next phase of Tema's growth. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you'll be a core member of a small but growing Marketing team, working across a broad set of marketing channels — content, email, social, paid media, paid social, PR, and events.

This is a hands-on role with real scope. You'll execute campaigns end-to-end, shape how Tema shows up in the market, and help build the systems, processes, and playbooks that scale with us. Operating within a lean marketing team, you’ll work directly with our investment, sales, and product teams, translating complex thematic investment stories into content and campaigns that resonate with financial advisors, institutional allocators, and self-directed investors.

The right person is a driven self-starter who thrives with autonomy, sweats the details, and is equally comfortable writing a social post, briefing an agency, analyzing a campaign, and pitching a journalist.

What You'll Do

  • Campaign management: Plan, execute, and measure integrated marketing campaigns across digital, paid, earned, and owned channels to drive awareness, engagement, and AUM growth across our ETF lineup.
  • Email marketing: Help build and optimize email programs for advisors, institutional investors, and retail subscribers — including newsletters, product launches, market commentary, and nurture campaigns.
  • Paid media & paid social: Ideate and manage paid campaigns across a range of platforms and relevant industry publications. Track budget allocation, targeting, creative testing, and ROI analysis.
  • PR & media relations: Work with our PR agency and directly with journalists to secure coverage, shape narratives, coordinate spokesperson opportunities, and amplify earned media across our channels.
  • Content production: Collaborate with portfolio managers, product, and design to produce high-quality content — articles, videos, podcasts, webinars, fund documents, and thought leadership — that explains our themes and builds credibility.
  • Events: Support the planning and execution of conferences, roadshows, webinars, and advisor events — from logistics and collateral through to follow-up and lead nurture.
  • Website & SEO: Contribute to keeping temaetfs.com sharp — updating product pages, publishing insights, and improving organic search performance.
  • Social media: Support the growth of Tema's organic social presence (LinkedIn, X, Reddit, YouTube, etc.).
  • Analytics & reporting: Track performance across channels, build dashboards, and translate data into clear recommendations that improve what we do next.
  • Brand & compliance: Protect brand consistency across every touchpoint and partner closely with Compliance to ensure all materials meet regulatory requirements.

What We're Looking For

  • 3–5 years of marketing experience, ideally with meaningful time in asset management, ETFs, wealth management, or adjacent financial services (strongly preferred).
  • A genuine grasp of the ETF industry, the audiences it serves (financial advisors, RIAs, institutional allocators, self-directed investors), and how investment products are marketed within a regulated environment.
  • Demonstrable hands-on experience across a broad marketing stack — social, email, paid media, paid social, PR, and content — rather than deep specialization in one channel only.
  • Strong writer and editor. You can take a dense investment thesis and turn it into something clear, compelling, and on-brand.
  • Comfort with marketing tools — CRM, CMS, Google Analytics, Ad Campaign Management, and social/scheduling tools.
  • Analytical and commercial mindset — you can measure and communicate what matters, and can connect marketing activity to sales pipeline and AUM outcomes.
  • A self-starter who operates with ownership and speed. You don't wait for perfect briefs; you ship, learn, and iterate.
  • Collaborative, low-ego, and comfortable in a small-team environment where roles flex and priorities shift.
  • Familiarity with financial services compliance and marketing rules (FINRA and SEC) is a strong plus.
