Your Role:
As the Senior Regional Marketing Manager - Public Sector, you’ll be responsible for marketing, awareness, and demand generation for sales and channels in your assigned territory. You will work very closely with the territory sales team, channel sales team, channel partners, and marketing services teams to plan, execute and measure ROI of field marketing activities.

Your Opportunity:

  • As the front-line marketing contact for your assigned territory, clearly communicate the federal and SLED marketing strategy, plans, goals and outcomes to all stakeholders (territory sales leader, reps and channel managers), as well as internal cross-functional teams

  • Create and execute quarterly and annual Federal and SLED go-to-market plans across all routes to market to overachieve net-new, pipeline creation, retention, cross-sell and lead conversion goals

  • Plan and execute marketing activities such as in-person and virtual events, revenue generation and email nurture by managing activities from concept through post-event follow-up

  • Gain a deep understanding of the regional business goals, drivers within federal and SLED and articulate the business needs to influence campaigns, messaging and content creation, digital marketing and other cross-functional needs to support the business

  • Assess and identify appropriate mix of direct, partner-led, joint, and alliance marketing programs to achieve target MQL, SQL/Opportunity and pipeline contribution goals

  • Learn and understand the Tenable product portfolio, positioning, go-to-market strategy, target audiences/personas so you can articulate and evangelize to your territory team and partners

  • Measure results by analyzing metrics delivered from marketing programs and regularly report on the results to sales and marketing leaders leveraging Salesforce, Tableau and other reporting tools

  • Document, write plans and update as required to maintain a rolling quarterly planning process

  • Take initiative in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities, manage projects simultaneously, work on tight deadlines and deliver campaigns on budget and on schedule

  • Serve as the first point of contact for partner questions, including how to navigate within the portal, where to find resources, etc. Also serve as the point person to articulate business needs for portal enhancements

What You'll Need:

  • 10+ years of marketing experience to federal government & SLED audience

  • BS/BA or equivalent work experience

  • Progressive experience in developing demand within high-tech B2B environment

  • Google Apps - mail, docs, sheets and slides, plus Salesforce, Marketo and Tableau experience, Slack and Zoom a plus.

  • Must be highly organized and able to manage multiple projects in parallel while meeting deadlines.

  • Extensive experience in completing all deliverables for 3rd party events - online ordering of booth materials, power, AV, furnishings, materials handling, etc.

  • Past experience working with third party vendors

  • Previous support of regional sales and partner organizations

  • Thorough marketing or channel sales background with responsibilities for multiple, multi-touch marketing initiatives

  • Strong written, oral, interpersonal and presentation skills

  • Strong project management, negotiation and decision-making skills

  • Ability to build relationships with peers, sales, distributors, resellers and customers

  • Use expertise and creativity for innovative marketing recommendations and solutions

  • Self-motivated, innovative and creative

And Ideally:

  • Security industry experience a plus

  • Working with Immix and Carahsoft experience a plus

This is the base pay range for this position. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, location and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown. Employees are also eligible for variable compensation in addition to base pay (commission for sales roles, bonus for non-sales roles), depending on company and individual performance. US Pay Ranges
$112,000$149,333.33 USD
