Your Role:

Tenable is seeking a Security Engineer-Industrial Security Specialist. This is a Pre-Sales Systems Engineer role. The person in this role will partner with our specialist OT account team as well as front line generalist teams to provide pre-sales technical systems engineering support for our customers. This role requires the deep expertise in Operational Technology environments as well as the ability to understand the relevant business and security decision drivers.

The OT Security Engineer is a critical component of the Tenable sales team with key responsibilities including discover of requirements, demonstrations, running Proof of Values engagements and advising on proper architecture and use of our solutions.

Your Opportunity:

  • Engagement in key potential OT accounts where SMEs are required to create, advance and close OT opportunities

  • Participate in discovery sessions with new and existing customers to understand customer need and determine solution fit

  • Run product demonstrations of the Tenable Solution

  • Deliver Proof of Value engagements remotely and occasionally on site

  • Enable and empower field to sell OT through formal trainings and informal meetings

  • Represent Field needs to the Product Organization, and influence the roadmap for product development in the areas of: How customers use Security products, How Tenable products fit into enterprise ecosystems, Theatre-specific needs (localization, compliance, etc.)

What You'll Need:

  • Past hands-on experience in OT environments, specifically in Energy or Manufacturing

  • Deep technical expertise around OT environments (both from a security and operational perspective)

  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements around cyber risk management specific to ICS

  • Ability to tie OT security back to broader strategic risk and our Exposure story

  • Ability to travel up to 25%



This is the base pay range for this position. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, location and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown. Employees are also eligible for variable compensation in addition to base pay (commission for sales roles, bonus for non-sales roles), depending on company and individual performance. $106,000$145,333.33 USD
