Your Role:

We are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) to drive alignment, clarity, and execution across Engineering, Product Management, Architecture, Research, QA, and the PMO organization. This role acts as the connective tissue, ensuring roadmaps, capacity, tooling, processes, and metrics support the long-term health and sustainability of our product ecosystem.

This TPM orchestrates complex, multi-team initiatives, advocating for improvements in tooling, workflow efficiency, and data visibility, and championing strategic alignment across global engineering teams. The role requires both strategic vision and hands-on execution, a strong engineering process background, and the ability to influence without authority across a distributed global organization.

Your Opportunity:

  • Strategic Alignment & Portfolio Leadership: Own alignment across technical domains (Product, Engineering, Architecture, Research, Infrastructure, Federal, AI). Lead cross-organizational planning, drive unified portfolio visibility, and facilitate roadmap interlocks to align engineering priorities with business objectives. Drive consensus and resolution across conflicting priorities.
  • Engineering Depth & Technical Problem Solving: Leverage strong engineering foundations to understand architecture, technical risks, and interdependencies. Identify systemic technical challenges and drive teams toward sustainable, scalable resolutions.
  • Roadmap, Capacity Planning & Resource Alignment: Facilitate engineering capacity planning with accurate estimation models. Maintain visibility into bandwidth and constraints, and monitor roadmap feasibility in collaboration with Product Management and Engineering leads.
  • Tools, Metrics & Data Accuracy: Ensure alignment of tools, dashboards, and KPIs. Drive adoption of consistent data definitions, quality gates, and reporting standards to promote data integrity and operational maturity.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication: Facilitate proactive communication and collaboration across all relevant teams (Product, Architecture, Engineering, Customer-facing). Act as a trusted advisor, synthesizing complex technical topics for leadership.
  • Change Advocacy, Process Improvement & Operational Excellence: Advocate for continuous improvement in planning, execution, and change management. Build scalable frameworks for program governance, risk management, and dependency handling, including leading Change Control and Governance. Expand and align processes for Incident Management.
  • Leadership, Mentorship & People Skills: Be a strong collaborator and observer. Serve as a mentor to engineers, product managers, and junior TPMs. Influence without authority by establishing rapport and leading through empathy, focusing discussions on customer-centric outcomes.

What Makes This Role Unique:

This TPM is a technical strategist, organizational integrator, and operational leader who:

  • Connects architecture, research, and product planning into one coherent execution model.
  • Ensures roadmaps reflect true engineering capacity.
  • Elevates tools, metrics, and data quality to enterprise standards.
  • Strengthens the entire engineering ecosystem by ensuring the right work is done, at the right time, with the right data, and with the right cross-functional alignment.

What You'll Need:

  • 5+ years of experience in Engineering, Technical Program Management, or Product Engineering leadership roles.
  • Strong engineering background with the ability to communicate deeply about architecture, systems, APIs, data flows, and cloud technologies.
  • Proven experience driving complex, interdependent programs across global engineering teams.
  • Strong understanding of product management principles and how roadmap decisions translate to engineering execution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentation capability.
