ABOUT THE TEAM

The Operations element at Trade Republic is in charge of “running” the bank. We are ensuring that all operational tasks are accurately processed and constantly streamlined in order to support Trade Republic's steady growth. We set up, implement, and automate new processes as ground-breaking features are continuously introduced.

As part of the Securities Services team in this position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that we meet our regulatory and tax obligations towards the regulators and customers and manage risk effectively. Beyond the day-to-day, your mission is to drive scalability of our operational processes, working closely with our Product team and experts to develop seamless workflows.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Own the delivery of regulatory and tax reports to regulators and customers;
  • Ensure data quality by performing quality assurance controls and reconciliation;
  • Effectively manage and optimize operational processes end-to-end
  • Perform data-driven analysis of our workflows and develop process automation in collaboration with other teams;
  • Support the discovery and implementation of new regulatory and tax requirements;
  • Contribute to positioning our Customer Support as best-in-class by applying your operational mindset to customer-inquiry processes



WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Completed studies in Business Administration, Law, Finance, Banking or other related fields;
  • 3+ years of professional experience in banking operations, consulting or FinTech industry;
  • Self-driven personality with a “hands-on” approach and excellent attention to detail;
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment;
  • Genuine interest in regulatory and tax topics as well as appetite for the investment/banking industry;
  • Proficiency in English is required, German is a plus;
  • Berlin-based or willingness to relocate to Berlin
