WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Trade Republic is looking for an Intern to join our Payroll Team. You will play a vital role in supporting our monthly payroll cycle and helping maintain a seamless experience for our employees across all our locations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Payroll Data Coordination: Support the monthly payroll cycle by collecting data from new joiners and ensuring all inputs are accurately entered into Personio.
- Document Administration: Take charge of the digital filing and secure distribution of monthly payslips and payroll related documents.
- Employee Inquiry Support: Act as a first point of contact for the payroll helpdesk, answering basic employee questions and assisting with payroll onboarding sessions.
- Compliance & Tracking: Help monitor working student hours and track the status of international requirements like Tax IDs and A1 certificates.
- Document Preparation: Assist in the creation of essential payroll documents, including unemployment certificates and exit paperwork.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Education: Recent Graduate in Accounting, HR, Business, Social Studies, or a related field.
- Detail-Oriented: You have a "zero-error" mindset when handling sensitive financial data and personal documents.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office/G-Suite (Excel is your friend). Experience with Personio or Jira is a strong plus.
- Communicator: You can explain complex payroll timelines to new joiners clearly and empathetically.
- Language Skills: Professional fluency in English and at least B1/B2 German (essential for handling German certificates and authorities).
- Reliable: You understand the importance of deadlines and can work independently in a fast-paced environment
