About the role

As a Sales Engineer at Transcend, you will be pivotal in solidifying Transcend’s position as a leader in the industry and growing our customer list. In your day-to-day you will be teaching, problem solving, and pairing technical expertise with sales acumen to provide solutions to our customers' challenges.

What you'll do

  • Partner with Account Executives to understand customer requirements and recommend solutions in order to remove technical and business-related obstacles during the sales process.
  • Lead the technical aspects of the sales process, including demonstrations, Proof-of-Concepts, RFPs, design documentation, technical presentations, and enablement sessions.
  • Design compelling product demonstrations and presentations, leveraging your deep understanding of Transcend’s products and industry to showcase the technical features and value.
  • Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to communicate customer needs and feedback.
  • Stay informed on privacy regulations and industry trends to provide a knowledgeable perspective in every conversation.
  • Contribute to Transcend’s broader success through knowledge sharing, thorough documentation, and teamwork.
Who you are
  • A passionate professional with 3+ years of sales engineering experience or 5+ years in a technical, customer-facing role.
  • Familiar with REST APIs, databases, and SaaS technology integration patterns.
  • Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to quickly learn new concepts and explain them to others.
  • You exhibit curiosity, a growth mindset and humility
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales engineering or technical customer facing role
  • Proficiency in demonstrating software and technology solutions
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet business objectives

For this role, the estimated annual OTE salary ranges are below. The actual annual salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process.
The listed range below is a guideline, and the annual OTE salary range for this role may be modified. Transcend offers attractive health benefits, equity, and perks in addition to cash compensation.

The pay range for this role is:

150,000 - 245,000 USD per year (Remote - United States)
