Overview
Alteryx is hiring a senior, seasoned Lead Partner Sales Engineer to act as a trusted technical and strategic advisor to our Partner Alliance Managers (PAMs) in the UKI region, with scope to expand responsibilities over time. This role is central to driving partner-led and partner-sourced growth with some of Alteryx’s most mature and strategically important partners outside the USA.
You will operate at the intersection of partners, sales, and presales, owning the technical success of key Global Systems Integrators (GSIs), Regional Solution Providers, and broader ecosystem partners. This is a high-impact, autonomous role designed for someone who can lead, influence, and execute without the need for close coaching.
What You Will Do
  • Act as the lead technical owner for strategic partnerships with GSIs, Regional Solution Providers, and broader ecosystem partners
  • Co-create joint solutions and propositions with partners, including ISVs and hyperscalers, and drive their go-to-market execution in close alignment with Partner Alliance Managers and Sales Teams
  • Lead complex solution engagements, including high-impact demos, proofs of concept, and solution architecture design
  • Showcase the latest Alteryx product capabilities and updates, while acting as a key technical point of contact for partner questions and escalations
  • Build, enable, and sustain a strong technical community across partners
  • Advocate partner-built propositions and solutions internally with Alteryx GTM teams, including sales, presales, marketing, and product
  • Collaborate closely with sales leadership, field sales engineers, presales leadership, and cross-functional teams including Product and Marketing
  • Champion innovation and thought leadership around AI-driven analytics and modern cloud data platforms
What We Look For
  • 8+ years of experience in senior Sales Engineering or Presales roles within enterprise software
  • Proven experience working directly with partners, including GSIs, Regional Solution Providers, RSIs, and ISVs
  • A strong solution-selling mindset, focused on business outcomes rather than product features
  • Demonstrated experience designing and positioning solutions on cloud data platforms, including:
    • Google Cloud
    • Databricks
    • Snowflake
  • Deep understanding of analytics, automation, and AI-driven solutions
  • Ability to operate autonomously, influence cross-functional stakeholders, and lead complex engagements with credibility
Nice to Haves
  • Experience shaping repeatable partner solutions and GTM plays
  • Background working with hyperscaler alliances or joint partner ecosystems
  • Familiarity with analytics governance, AI adoption frameworks, or enterprise data strategies
  • Experience influencing internal product or roadmap discussions based on partner and field feedback
