Who we are

Alteryx is an AI-ready data and analytics company that helps organizations put data + AI to work for the Intelligent Enterprise. For more than 20 years, over 8,000 customers have trusted Alteryx to connect, clean, and automate enterprise data — no coding required — delivering the analytics, workflows, and business logic that power insights and operational decisions. Today, we’re extending that same trusted foundation into the AI era, helping organizations operationalize intelligence across every cloud data ecosystem.

What are we looking for

We are seeking a strategic, analytically rigorous Market & Competitive Intelligence Leader to own and scale Alteryx’s intelligence program across market trends, competitive insights, and win/loss analysis.

This leader will serve as the source of truth for what is happening in the analytics and AI landscape — synthesizing signals from analyst research, buyer insights, field feedback, and competitor movements into clear, actionable intelligence for Product, Marketing, Sales, and Executive Leadership.

This is both a strategic and executional role, ideal for someone who can detect early market shifts, translate complex competitive dynamics into sharp recommendations, and operationalize intelligence through scalable tools, battlecards, dashboards, and enablement programs that directly impact win rates, positioning, and growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Continuously monitor industry news, analyst research (Gartner, Forrester), buyer signals, and competitor activity to track market dynamics and emerging trends.

  • Curate and distribute timely market and competitive insights via internal channels, newsletters, and executive-ready summaries.

  • Translate market shifts and analyst insights into actionable implications for positioning, product strategy, and GTM planning.

  • Lead competitive intelligence across platforms (Crayon, Qualitate, Salesforce), synthesizing messaging, pricing, product, and feature updates.

  • Own and maintain competitive battlecards, dashboards, and intelligence repositories to ensure accuracy and field usability.

  • Manage and evolve the Win/Loss program, including interview design, stakeholder alignment, analysis, and insight dissemination.

  • Conduct quarterly field surveys and analyze sales feedback to identify perception gaps, risks, and competitive opportunities.

  • Attend key industry and competitor events; deliver rapid analysis of announcements, positioning shifts, and market impact.

  • Embed intelligence into sales enablement, onboarding, executive briefings, and major company events.

  • Serve as program owner and administrator for all market and competitive intelligence tools, ensuring adoption, data integrity, and cross-functional impact.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, data science, or related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in market intelligence, competitive intelligence, product marketing, or related analytical roles in a SaaS or B2B technology environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative data, identify trends, and translate insights into narrative and recommendations.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with executive presence; ability to influence without authority.

  • Experience with competitive intelligence tools and platforms; comfort learning new systems quickly.

  • Proven track record partnering cross-functionally with GTM, product, and leadership teams.

What Success Looks Like in Your First 6–12 Months

  • Accurate, timely, and relevant dissemination of intelligence that influences decision-making across product, marketing, and sales teams.

  • High usage and utilization of competitive intelligence platforms within the organization.

  • Intelligence products (newsletters, battlecards, quarterly reports) that shape GTM priorities, win strategies, and executive planning.

  • Trusted advisor to internal partners with clear, actionable insights that drive strategic outcomes.
