The Sr. Manager, CRM Systems leads the strategy, delivery, and evolution of Alteryx’s enterprise CRM platforms. You’ll sit at the intersection of IT and the business, translating complex needs into scalable, reliable systems while leading and developing a high-performing team.
This role combines hands-on systems expertise, people leadership, and strategic influence across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and other enterprise functions.
What You’ll Do
CRM & Enterprise Systems Leadership
Own the end-to-end lifecycle of Salesforce CRM and related enterprise systems, from strategy and design through implementation and optimization.
Lead integrations across the GTM tech stack, including CPQ, sales engagement, customer success platforms, middleware, and analytics systems.
Partner with business leaders to understand current and future needs; translate them into technical solutions with clear cost, timeline, and risk tradeoffs.
Lead system analysis, design, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
Drive system upgrades, enhancements, and integrations across the enterprise ecosystem.
Strategy & Execution
Define and execute CRM platform roadmaps aligned to business and IT strategy.
Establish and evolve system standards, documentation, and best practices.
Lead large, cross-functional systems initiatives with clear trade-offs across cost, speed, and risk.
Develop and oversee testing strategies, conversion plans, and implementation methodologies.
Identify opportunities to improve scalability, performance, and user experience.
People & Team Leadership
Lead and develop a team of CRM professionals, including managers and senior individual contributors.
Set clear objectives, allocate resources, and ensure delivery against commitments.
Coach, mentor, and grow leaders within the organization.
Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer focus.
Influence & Collaboration
Influence stakeholders across functions on systems, processes, and technology-driven change.
Provide insight and recommendations on complex business and technical issues.
Contribute to operational and strategic planning at the functional and enterprise level.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience (Master’s a plus).
8+ years of experience in enterprise systems or CRM platforms, with deep functional expertise.
5+ years of people leadership experience, including managing managers.
Deep expertise in Salesforce and modern GTM tech ecosystems.
A bias for action and the ability to deliver impact in fast-paced environments.
Proven ability to lead large, complex systems initiatives across multiple business functions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable navigating ambiguity.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
A track record of influencing strategy and driving measurable business impact.
AI driven Software Development Lifecycle mindset.
Compensation:
Alteryx is committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation. Final compensation is determined by several factors, including but not limited to relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.
The base salary for this position is between $154,000 - $205,000.
In addition to base pay and bonus eligibility, this role includes clear forms of additional compensation, such as:
A monthly Connectivity Plus stipend of $150 to support remote work-related expenses
An annual $200 home office reimbursement
