Alteryx is looking for a Strategic Alliances Manager with strong deal, strategy and relationship management experience to accelerate our global consulting partner ecosystem. The objective is to work with strategic consulting partners to extend our reach, revenues and services delivery.
The candidate will have significant experience and passion in scaling partnerships with partners. The successful candidate will work with the consulting partners alliances marketing & field sales to drive go-to-market and alignment with their counterparts. The responsibilities include leading developing & owning the partner strategy for the assigned sales region, aligning the sales team, tracking and communicating progress and growing Alteryx’s revenues across the all products/solutions with each partner.
Responsibilities:
Develop and align both partner and Alteryx on a multi-year business plan within assigned Alteryx sales region
Achieve business development targets and grow overall co-sell with each strategic partner
Coordinate internal and external-facing marketing and sales GTM efforts
Understand the partner business requirements and drive go to market programs that create market pull of Alteryx within the partners customer base
Ensure the partner has the skills, certifications and capacity to deliver on their market opportunity
Drive partner cadence and demonstrate measurable progress towards an “Alteryx First” relationship
Execute the partner strategy through coordination and leadership of partner activities across the assigned Alteryx sales region
Manage the alignment between the partner and Alteryx personnel within assigned region (including sales, product specialists, consulting, support, channels and corporate functions) to ensure an effective alignment model, communications, and reporting cadence
Ensure training strategies and plans with partner are aligned for growth in their Alteryx practice including certifications at the right capacity for successfully delivering on the market opportunity
Drive a quarterly business reviews with region and global sponsors to track progress on aligned GTM focus areas / work streams and other interactions
Build relationships with the partner’s executive team, earning a reputation as one of their trusted advisors
Maintain a deep understanding of the partners key industries, including trends, business processes, financial measurements and performance indicators, and key competitors
Deliver accurate weekly and quarterly forecasts
Qualifications:
Deep domain expertise in the data ecosystem
Ability to lead and influence across a geographically dispersed teams
Self-sufficient, focused leader with a propensity towards execution and driving revenue results
Strong relationship management / partner development skills
Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in Business Development
Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with an ability to speak effectively to business development leaders, executives, product managers, engineers, lawyers, and security professionals
A business leader who is able to influence and build relationships with people across all levels and organizations internally and externally
Passionate Field Alliances/Channel champion who can provide world-class program management and thought leadership to increase revenue and drive incremental business opportunities
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Must be able to prioritize and multi-task with special attention to detail and follow-up
Ability to run quickly with little supervision and adapt to a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
BA/BS degree, MBA or master’s degree from a top university a plus
Ability to adjust to time zone and potential travel when appropriate
Compensation:
Alteryx is committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation. Final compensation is determined by several factors, including but not limited to relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.
The base salary range for this role in the United States is $108,000–$138,000 with On-Target-Earnings range of $180,000-$230,000.
In addition to base pay and commission eligibility, this role includes clear forms of additional compensation, such as:
A monthly Connectivity Plus stipend of $150 to support remote work-related expenses
An annual $200 home office reimbursement
