Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Lead Data Engineer to build and scale the data infrastructure at Truemeds. You will be responsible for designing high-performance data pipelines, enabling real-time analytics, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with product, analytics, engineering, and business teams to build scalable and reliable data systems.

Key Responsibilities

● Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines.

● Develop real-time and batch data processing systems using Apache Spark.

● Build and maintain data warehouse solutions using Amazon Redshift and Snowflake.

● Design and implement data models including fact tables and dimension tables.

● Ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability across data platforms.

● Optimize large-scale data processing pipelines and queries.

● Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and product teams to deliver high-quality datasets.

● Build real-time data processing pipelines for analytics and operational use cases.

● Lead and mentor data engineers and implement best practices in data engineering.

● Improve data infrastructure scalability, performance, and monitoring.

Required Skills

● 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering.

● Strong programming experience in Python.

● Hands-on experience with ETL pipeline development.

● Strong experience with Apache Spark for distributed data processing.

● Experience with data warehouses such as Amazon Redshift and Snowflake.

● Strong SQL and data modeling expertise.

● Experience designing fact tables and dimension tables.

● Experience with real-time or streaming data processing systems.

● Strong understanding of large-scale data architecture and distributed systems.

Preferred Skills

● Experience with Airflow or workflow orchestration tools.

● Experience with Kafka or streaming frameworks.

● Experience with AWS or other cloud data platforms.

● Experience working in product-based or high-growth startup environments.
